Welcome! My name is Ryosuke Mashiko. 
I am a Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University, where I'm working with Prof. Olav Solgaard and Prof. David Miller. My research spans programmable photonics, free-space optical interconnects, optical computing, exoplanet sensing, and computational imaging. ​

Before I entered Stanford EE's Ph.D. program in 2025, I earned an M.S. (2024) in Engineering from the IST and a B.S. (2022) in Engineering from the MEIP at the University of Tokyo under Prof. Ryoichi Horisaki and Prof. Makoto Naruse. ​​​​
